FYI

I just wanted to write this on here for my records, i know its not important to any of you but, the girls are officially "sippy cup free". The last time they used one was April 24, a day before we left on our trip to Disney. I thought this was a good opportunity to do it since they were going to be so tired on our vacation that they were just going to go to bed without the sippy cup because as many of you know...YES...i used to give them milk before they went to bed every night. I guess Hannah was way too old for it but i hadn't even thought about it until my mom told me i was crazy because i wanted to buy even more sippy cups.

And i have to admit i was just lazy and didn't want to deal with the mess!!!

Wow...now this time it's really being a long time....Well....a lot of things have happened since the last time i wrote.
I can't believe i dint write anything about Valentine's, St Patrick's Day and Easter...so i'll post some pictures later.
Well i got a job with JetBlue in February and my mom came to help...she was here for 2 months and she just went back on saturday. It was really nice when she was here...i din't have to worry about anything around the house...she did EVERYTHING.
The girls have been changing a lot this last few months, i don't know if it's because im working andi don't have all the time i used to before to discipline them. When i am with them i just want to do fun things with them but sometimes it is almost impossible. I hope they get better because right now i just think the older they are getting the worst. Dont get me wrong I LOVE THEM but they are a lot of work.
Another good thing about my mom been with us for so long is that the girls learned more spanish and i want to continue speaking to them in spanish so that they dont forget it.
Hannah is registered for kindergarten....for now is full day...we'll see how that goes.
We are leaving on saturday...going to Disney world...we are going to stay there for a few days and then we go on the Disney Cruise!!!!...the girs are really excited and I am excited to take them too...i just can see their faces when they see that the princesses and the castle are real...Patty and John(my in-laws) are going to meet us in Orlando so the girls we'll love that.....and this will be my first time visiting Disney too!!!!

I just wanted to write some stuff about the girls because they are always saying the cutest things and I don’t want to forget it….
And of course I can’t remember anything now…hahah…I’ll have to write on a piece of paper next time.
I just love how they are always playing together…they really are best friends…this Sunday I stayed home with Meghan…we were not feeling well…and as soon as Hannah got home the first thing she asked was “where is Meghan?”… they miss each other…and yes they also fight about a lot of things…haha…but I guess it’s ok since they play all day together.
And now that I am going to start working I’m getting kind of nervous because I don’t know how it’s going to be with the girls…if I work during the day somebody is going to have to watch them and if I work at night I’ll be dead everyday and not in the mood to play with them or anything….but we’ll see how it goes…
My mom is coming on Sunday and she’ll stay with us for a few months to help with the girls while I’m working . So the girls are excited about Grandma coming and also about Valentine’s Day. Hannah keeps asking if it’s Valentine’s Day already. She wants to make cookies and take them to her friends so I guess that’s what we’ll be doing.

Late Christmas post...

Wow i've been really bad at this...I will try to remember all the stuff i wanted to write on here.
We had a very nice Christmas...We were just missing a few people. Patty and John got a place in Snowbird so the girls and i stayed there one night and it didn't really work out...Meghan was coughing ALL night so we didn't get any sleep but we went and visited another times and Hannah loved the pool. Meghan not so much.
We went to Hannah's school program and of course Santa was there so they were very excited about that. This year we asked Santa not bring a lot of toys for the girls...they just asked for a baby doll and a bed for the babies and of course we had to get them a few toy horses.

Mexico!!!

This year we spent Thanksgiving in Mexico!!!....and yes that means…no turkey or mashed potatoes….instead we had Carne Asada…and it was really good!!!
We went to my hometown Hermosillo. We spent a week with my family and it was really fun. The weather was amazing..not too hot….it was in the 80’s. So we went to the beach which is one hour away from Hermosillo..it is called Kino Bay..and it’s really pretty and the best thing was…we were the only ones there!!!!...it was clean and peaceful. The girls loved it…they were just running around the whole time we were there.
This was the first time Pat was there and he loved it so much that he wants to go next year again and stay the whole week at the beach!!!...sounds good to me!!!
We stayed at a nice hotel…not five stars..but it was good…They had a free breakfast buffet and it was delicious!!!...every morning we would just have breakfast there and we didn’t get hungry until dinner..which saved us some money…hahah.

We found this dead fish but the girls thought it was alive because it was moving in the water....

And the girls actually enjoy vacations now and let us enjoy it too...so it was very fun to spend some time with them without thinking about cleaning the house, doing laundry, etc...Everyday they would ask “are going home?”…”we don’t want to go home” so when we really had to leave I just said we were going to see “tata”…which means grandpa…because we drove to Tucson and then to Phoenix and we flew from there. They really miss Mexico now….or just being on vacation….the other day we forced Meghan to eat chicken and then we said “good job Meghan”…and gave her a hug and she said.. “can I go to Mexico now???”..poor thing…and when you ask them where do you want to go or do…they say they want to go to Mexico…I think they miss being around a lot of people every day..giving them all the attention they want and need sometimes.

They really miss Mexico now...or just being on vacation...the other day we forced Meghan to eat chicken and then we said "good job Meghan"...and gave her a hug and she said.."i can go to Mexico now???"..poor thing...and when you ask them where they want to go or do they say they want to go to Mexico...i guess they miss being around a lot of people all the time, getting all the attention they want and need sometimes.

Oh well i just hope we can go there more often now...

The Party!!!

W e had a really fun day yesterday. We went to Disney on Ice with some friends and then we went to Red Robin to eat and to have some cake too.

By the way, it was the best cake..it was so pretty we didn’t want to cut it…but of course we did and it was delicious!!!....Banana cake with caramel filling….yummy!!!......i wish our family could’ve been here especially the little cousins….. Myleigh and William. And I wanted to say thank you to our awesome friends who live an hour away plus it was snowing and they still came. Thanks guys!!!

Then after that we just came home gave the girls a bath and Hannah finished it by saying the cutest prayer. Her prayers are always funny but last night it was even funnier….

One of the things she said was: “thank you for my birthday, for my presents…I loved the horses they make me really happy and my friends”…then she heard Pat laughing and said “Papi don’t laugh”…then she kept going with her prayer and said “please bless us we can have good night sleep don’t wake up to go to the bathroom” and I forgot the rest but it was really funny.

The Big 5!!!

Well…Hannah turned 5 today…I can not believe it….She was really excited since she talks about birthdays all year long. She just couldn’t believe it was really her birthday…she said in the morning: “Mommy now is my birthday???...not later??” When we were going to church this morning she was all excited that “everybody” was going to sing happy birthday to her. “Mommy and everybody is going to sing to me????”.
Yesterday I went out for a few hours and Pat stayed with the girls so he took them to the “Build a bear shop”. Hannah made this Big pink pony…it was just perfect for her. She had been asking for that for a long time so I’m very proud of Pat for doing that without me telling him…hahaha….Oh and Meghan got a puppy. They were really excited, when I got home they both ran to the door to show me their new animals.
And today we didn’t really do anything for her…Pat made her a cake..his famous Jello Cake that at the end didn’t turn out so good…it just looked weird …He had to go to the airport to pick up some friends so he asked me to finish it and of course I didn’t do it right.
So it was just the four of us. We sang Happy Birthday to Hannah and ate some cake…opened some presents, went on skype to talk to Grandma and Grandpa Donohoe, gave the girls a bath and put them to bed.
Next week we are going to Disney on Ice and after that we’ll go to Red Robin and we’ll take a cake there to celebrate with some friends.
Hannah is such a smart little girl..we love her…She is always asking questions about EVERYTHING…sometimes I just can’t take it anymore…haha…she surprises me all the time with the things that she says or the things that she can remember. She loves going to school and her teacher is amazing. Tomorrow they are going to celebrate her birthday at school so she gets to take a bag full of her favorite stuff….(a lot of ponies are going in there) and we have to take the snack for the kids so we are making cupcakes and some string cheese and apples. So that should be fun for her too.

After church....

She saw this shoes at the store and almost cried because i din't get them for her..she kept saying "mommy but the fit me"....i just said yeah but they don't fit our budget....hahah...so i went back and got them for her....
